About Us

GreenMouse, Inc. was born in 2005 with a simple but powerful idea: make it easy and responsible for folks to get rid of unwanted waste. It all started with Evelyn O’Donnell, a seasoned pro from Silicon Valley’s fast-paced high-tech world. After years of marketing and sales, she felt called to build a company with a purpose — one that would offer not just a service, but a chance for folks to make a difference.

Evelyn envisioned a place where people who might not have had the same opportunities — under-skilled youth and adults — could learn, grow, and thrive. And that’s exactly what GreenMouse set out to do: create sustainable jobs and training programs that empower communities, all while keeping our environment clean and healthy.

Our Commitment

GreenMouse, Inc. is approved by the State of California to provide electronic waste management services to businesses, schools, non-profit organizations, and government agencies. We are in the process of becoming R2 Certified, the standard that requires certified companies to have a policy on managing used and end-of-life electronics equipment, components and materials based on strategies such as reuse, materials and energy recovery and/or disposal. All GreenMouse, Inc. downstream vendors and partners are R2 Certified, giving us the confidence that your electronics will be responsibly and securely managed according to R2 Certification requirements.

Collection Events

At GreenMouse, we believe in the power of community—and we love working alongside schools, non-profits, and other organizations to raise funds through e-waste collection events. When your group hosts an event with us, you’ll receive 50% of the revenue generated from all the e-waste we collect—provided you meet a few simple requirements.

We ask for at least 30 days’ notice so we can plan, organize, and make sure your event runs smoothly. With a little teamwork and planning, we can turn unwanted electronics into real financial support for your organization—while keeping our environment clean and green.

E-Waste Collection Events

We believe in the strength of community and work closely with schools and other non-profit organizations to help raise funds through e-waste collection events. We share 50% of the revenue generated from all e-waste collected, provided your organization meets the minimum requirements. A minimum of 30 days advance notice is required to properly plan and execute your event.

Upcoming Events

IT ASSET DISPOSITION (ITAD)

Our ITAD services include data center project management (decommissioning of devices, packing, processing, equipment audits, secure on-site data destruction) and equipment hardware resale and recycling. Our ITAD team will work with you to maximize the return on your technology and inventory investments.
